Seriously! Last time I checked it's a) why we elected them, and b) what they get paid for. So, essentially, we're paying them to not do their jobs, but to run for President. Sweet deal for them.
We were just having this discussion at the cabin, what other profession could you just stop working and run for president and not immediately lose your job!!!
